ABOUT

Brian Hickey is a senior studying entrepreneurship and marketing at Babson College where he receives a full tuition merit scholarship which has provided support for his efforts to make an impact on his local and global communities. His experience includes travel to several European and African countries which he has enabled him to learn from and interact with many different business leaders. Brian has had both domestic and international internship opportunities and he has consulted on projects for a startup, venture capital firm, and an international company. He has been able to gain valuable business and global perspectives through these experiences which has helped prepare him to make a contribution immediately upon graduation.

He is passionate about volunteer service and he works to support education, business, and healthcare programs in rural Africa. He recently assisted local villagers in Uganda with the development and organization of a new artisan business venture. Brian also serves as a college Social Media Ambassador connecting the community through blogging and social networks and he is a long-time runner who competed on the Babson running teams while in college. He welcomes hearing from others who value hard work and who share his passion for solving business challenges with creativity, enthusiasm, and energy.
