Brian Hickey

Brian Hickey is currently a business student at Babson College, concentrating in entrepreneurship and marketing. He serves as a Babson Social Media Ambassador, providing insight into life at Babson and sharing stories with the community. As a Babson College Weissman Scholar, Natalie Taylor (Bernon) Scholar, and a Foot Locker/Do Something Scholar Athlete, Brian seeks to use his intellectual passion and leadership skills to positively impact the community.

Brian currently serves as the Webmaster for the USA Track & Field Adirondack Association, and he assists the organization with its website and social media presence. In addition, Brian was the Founder and Webmaster of a nationally recognized high school running website, which provided coverage of the sports of cross country and track and field on a statewide and national level through which he promoted the sport and its athletes. Brian continues his passion for running as a member of the Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field Programs at Babson College.

Globally, he is involved in social entrepreneurship and he does volunteer works to create business opportunities in rural Uganda. As Co-Founder of the Engeye Teen Connection and a member of the Engeye Scholars Advisory Council, he works to empower teens and youth to make a global difference in rural Uganda through education, business, and healthcare. He personally traveled to Uganda in July 2011 to provide educational support and explore sustainable business opportunities for local villagers, a project he is currently pursuing.
